Full sounding ride with definite sticking. Same old, dark and warm sound but with more wash and definition. The original cymbals were created especially for Mel's live performances. These new models of the Mel Lewis signature series have a highly versatile perspective ranging from small jazz settings to nostalgic big band sounds. (Unlike the 21" model, there are no rivets pre-installed.) |
