| The Samba Trash China is probably best described as a New Orleans series china, if one actually existed outside of special order. They're spiral-lathed in the same fashion, front and back, but with a slightly flatter profile than a normal china. This decreses the overall "china" tone, and brings a small amount of normal "crash" tone into play. The flange doesn't curl up as much as a normal china, so it's a little easier on your sticks, when played in the typical "jazz" manner, bell up. These are great with rivets. :-P |
